Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet –
Criteria for Awards

The President’s Award

Awarded to an individual or group of individuals that have provided a lifetime of dedication to Farmersville.  The award recipient is selected by the Chamber Board of Directors in a closed meeting—unless otherwise agreed by the Board.  It is the responsibility of the person making the nomination to provide a short bio of the nominee.  The nominee selected will be announced and awarded the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce President’s Award at the Annual Banquet.

The Harry L. Cameron Citizen of the Year Award

This award is given to an individual who has made a significant contribution and has provided significant leadership in the Farmersville community in the calendar year immediately preceding the Annual Banquet.  Nominations for this award will be accepted by the general public with the final decision made by the Chamber board in a closed meeting—unless otherwise agreed by the Board.  It is the responsibility of the person making the nomination to provide a short bio of the nominee.  An eNews will offer an invitation for the general public to make nominations for Citizen of the Year.  The nominee selected will be announced and awarded the Citizens of the Year Award at the Farmersville Annual Banquet.

The decisions made by the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors concerning these awards are final.

Our Annual Banquet is March 23rd and our favorite part is to thank the Chamber Members, and present awards to the Fireman of the Year, Policeman of the Year, The President’s Award and The Harry L. Cameron Citizen of the Year Award.  Nominations are open for the Presidents Award and Citizen of the Year — send your nominations to:  Lisa@FarmersvilleChamber.com
